Duct tape is designed for use with hot air ducting which reaches very high temperatures (200deg C)why would ultraviolet light degrade it, heating ducts operate in all types of illuminated and non illuminated environments what makes you say that, Although I see no reference to UV light in
this document, perhaps on purpose...
