As i am from Bangalore south India - i will try to answer your queries -
I have catched yamal 202 , on the same Chinese panel dish moradabad is talking about, its a 6 ft panel dish, cost around 2000 change, with the l polarity feed horn and c band lnb in prime focus i was able to catch rentv, signal strength was above 50% , i watched for a week and as of not i am not watching it anymore, i wasted lot of money to get a l polarity feedhorn as it doesnt come cheap, in the end it was a waste of time , money and resources, now on the same dish i am wathcing telestar 18, that has 4 adult channels and few sports channels and one hollywood channels that beams english content with chinese subtitles
Like moradabad bhai has mentioned for personal use and if you dont have high budget go for chinese dish, i went for the same as it suited my requirement was easy to setup as it had a stand and i am living in a rented house.
One more thing i would like to inform everyone is that lot of people want to catch yamal 201/202 for adult channels, there are adult movies which are shown only on weekend, rest all channels are russian and there is nothing to watch,
It's better to go for either hotbird,telestar 18 incase you are really after adult stuff, last but not the least nothing comes for free, so you will need to take a cs line, put keys to get it to work...
