My System: Technotrend 3200, Triax 80cm dish, Pace 2600C1, Thomson DSI 8210, Raven 60cm dish. Skyline DSR 6000, Stab motor.
Thomson DSI 8210 no signal with motor

Got a new Thomson DSI 8210 Sky+ box and connected it to my 80cm dish, which has about 25 metres of cable and a stabs usals motor. Many channels reported this message "no satellite signal being received" error number 28. So I removed the cable from the motor and connected it directly to the LNB and hey presto, all channels are back on. My cable is the type with hollow insulation and the cable from the motor to LNB is a piece of NTL cable with solid foam insulation. Is the motor causing a drop in signal?

I've also got a Pace 2600C1 Sky receiver and it works okay with the cable going through the motor, although I've heard this box works with weak signals.
