Any of the type '100' approved satellite cables should do the trick, eg wf100 (foam dielectric) or WC100( air- spaced).
Check that the air-cored cable is double screened and the correct type for satellite.
The cables with silver coloured foil and braid such as the virgin stuff are not supposed to be as good.
Yes, the motor will cause some attenuation. 3 or 4 dB I believe.
Also kinked or badly bent cable will cause a problem, the air-spaced dielectic cable is more prone to this. |
