I think everyone knows that a number of Freesat boxes didn't meet with the European directive to be able to tune in the non-freesat channels. Hence they were recalled for a fix. The HD box mentioned here did have that facility which is maybe why its availability was greater than some SD boxes.
BTW Sky did follow the European directive which is why their boxes has the 'Other Channels' facility. |
