My System: Sky UK. FTA analogue & digital satellite from 6 fixed dishes (5E/7E/9E/10E/13E/16E/ 19E/23E/28E) Pace MSS100, Echostar IP3000VA, Technomate TM-1000D, Dreambox 7020S

The last noble sat warrior to fly the olden flag of Analogue

Its a fiction maintained by the broadcasters and the usa programme makers that theres very little overspill. Yes everybody knows theres out of area leakage but its ignored.

Its a case of making it a little difficult to do - if I put a 3 or 4m dish in the garden I could have all the 7W channels easy as anything (if I chopped a few trees down first!) but its too much hassle and too expensive for me to bother. Same principlewith Astra 2D.

Of course the next generation of satellites could easily make things far harder for the expat community - I can think of several evil ways of stopping expat reception with technology that is available today!
