Thats an odd one
, I'd normally be looking at drivers with that type of issue. Updating the BIOS would not have crossed my mind.
It may have been something to do with how the drivers were interacting with the BIOS.
Did you try resetting to defaults before the upgrade? Maybe there was an incorrect setting applied.
