Not wanting to disagree with people that have a lot more experience than me, but I got an SG motor and a really heavy steel 1.2 m dish. It did say max 1.2 m on the motor, so that's what I got
Not only that, it is exposed to wind as well - but so far, the motor has lasted a few years without too many problems...might be worth just trying it out first.
