On a 1m there you should expect to get ..

45 42 40.5 39 36 33 28.2(&5) 26* 23.5 21.6 19.2 16 13 10 9 7 5 EAST

45 43 37.5 34.5 31.5 30 27.5 24.5 22 18 15 12.5 11 8 7** 5 1 WEST

* including MBC's TP but not BADR 6
** Only the strong verticals such as City 7 / Dubai One etc...

*** some weaker beams/ TPs will be missing on some satellites and some satellites like 27.5w only have feeds

checK out the strongest signals list elsewhere on this forum (listed above this subsection) for the whole arc (bit out of date now but most are OK)

and lyngsat.com (or Flysat or Kingofsats) for detailed lists of those satellites... also check the signal (footprint) maps (at the right side) to see what signals are transmitted to the UK (ie: easy to get) and which are not (not so easy to impossible to get)

you might actually get about 90% of satellites/ channels with a 1m ... the bigger dishes are just for a few difficult sats as already listed (7w etc..)

you can actually get almost all those sats on a z1 Sky dish.. minus a few tps/beams

you can also get further east or west and you may find some satellites missing in the arc due to local obstacles like trees/ chimneys...
