As I said in my post - to do ALL of what you want you need one of the latest HDD/DVD recorders from Panasonic, Sony or similar good brand.
They are excellent units, especially the Panasonic HDD/DVD, but you pay for the convenience.
With these units you have all the functions of a modern PVR - one click recording, series recording, recording from any state (unlike the old VCRs/DVDs you don't have to remember to put them into timer mode), play and record at same time, seven day EPG, etc. |
