My System: Sat TV : Astrx (ku band); Satellite : Mexsxt 3 PC: AMD Am2 4000+ 2GB ddr2 ram Winxp Sp2 MediaCenter 2005; DVB-S card: haven't decided
Mediaguard2(seca2) and Videoguard possible?

Hi, i'm newbie on sat tv and i need some guidance.

I'm a payed subscriber of my local sat tv, therfore i have the smartcard.
According lyngsat.com, it uses Mediaguard2 and Videoguard.

I'd like to record sat tv onto my home-theater pc using progdvb. I've done some reading, and it tells me i need a compatible dvb-s pci card, and some "softcam", 'cause there's no CAM for seca2.

Is it possible to do this? If so, how would i go about setting it up?

Please help out, thanks !!
