That would be a problem, the last time a stuck my multimeter in a socket it read 239-241v (it's that cheap Maplin one that was posted here ages ago, it's not quite that accurate sometimes!!!), so the sr6500 would probably pass away pretty sharpish here, assuming that's what you meant...
