Adamrick!
I feel your pain, you have the same problem that I have. I am in South Africa, and have a legitimate MCA Card Version 5 Zeta, which I would also like to use in the my Dreambox 500 S as opposed to the using it in the provided MCA Decoder.
I use CCcam 2.1.0. Without some changes to the cccam.cfg file, nothing happened, I then edited the cfg file and added the same info that you had at the beginning of this thread.
Cccam showed that it was decrypting the card as in the letter showing the encryption "I" turned green, but there was no picture on my TV Screen.
I have since given up. If anyone has any solution please let me know!
MCA says that it has married the smartcard to the decoder.
And no you cannot call them and ask them for a PIN number, they do not want you to use their smartcards on any other decoder rather than their own.

I have successfully inserted my legitimate UAE card into other 'non standard' receivers and have had no problems at all. Don't believe all you are told from the providers...
I currently use a DM7000 with a CI module and my active MCA smartcard works with no problems at all.
What I am trying to do is use the internal slots of the DM7000 to read the card and allow autoroll updates automatically... THAT is the million dollar bug/issue/problem that I need to solve....
Any suggestions?? |
