Smile First try this!

First try setting up HOTBIRD. Tune into XXL and MULTIVISION channels. Also try Spice Platinum (11853, 27500, 3/4). See what happens; the rest comes later. Good Luck

Depends where in Asia (huge continent) you are, perhaps ask the members in this section http://www.satellites.co.uk/php-bin/...splay.php?f=83

No Hotbird in Malaysia

You cannot receive Hotbird signals in Malaysia as the footprint of the satellite includes only Europe and the Middle East. Trying to get the signals will be a pointless exercise.

You might get some signals off the NSS-6 satellite which beams Bluekiss & Sexy Sat. But you'll have to manage a decoder and/or a viewing card for the same.

What size dish are you thinking of using ?
Which LNB can you get to work with it
What can you already see with the system you have, more imprtantly which channel can you JUST get ?

There is a very fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness"

Im not surprised you cant find any analogue channels - if you look at the frequency lists for the satellites the analogue channels no longer exist - its all digital these days..
