How long Hispasat will last??

I am new in the satelite world I have Strong 4355evolution and Matrix R cam and I can watch Digital + and Cabo. I was wondering if anyone knows how long it will work??

My System: Sky+, DB 7000s, Gemini 4.3 in flash, Var on USB stick. Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Unaohm EP313, Swires Annie 204 Spectrum, Rover ST-4 Spectrum.

Only a few people at D+ and they ain't saying.

hi bbosko

i was intereted in buying the Strong 4355 revolution myself. how much did it cost u? does it have slots for Irdeto2 and Viaccess2 CAMS?

It has two CI slots you can use all cams but I'm not sure for viaccess2. It was a gift so I don't know the price.

Make sure your dealer offers full after market service with the 4355 receiver. A lot of prople have been cast adrift with previous SRT models, sometimes just as the year is up.

thanks for the alert sign CH. will reconsider. what about the Humax F1C1 . there is a used one that i could buy.

F1CI is a very old model and the backup from Humax themselves may not be up to date

I am not sure how it functions with the more modern CAMs either

The 5400 is the benchmark by which most judge the embedded receivers by (and even that is now four years old)

Humax F1 CI , I got one long Ago and now I have problems with it, it handle very bad the CAM,s , and not new software avaliable for more the 2 years. Sorry
