Portland Enterprises, owned by Express Newspapers proprietor Richard Desmond, is set to launch two new channels and introduce “erotic gambling” interactive services in partnership with the Digital Interactive Television Group (DITG). Portland will soon go live with two new movie channels: Red Hot Films, showing feature-length US adult films, and Red Hot Euro, showing films from the continent. The channels will add to Portland’s existing suite of adult services, which includes five Red Hot channels and three Television X brands. Claire Wigington, marketing director for Portland’s parent company Northern & Shell, said that the company was working on gambling applications, accessible through the red button on the remote control, in partnership with DITG. |
