My System: Satellite Dish 1.6m Hotbird 13E, DreamBox 7000S with Gemini 4.5.0; Dish 1.2m Amos 4W, Nokia 9600S; Nokia 9800S; Hauppauge Nexus-S PCI Card  He battled for 3 days against the Tux and won! Hurray!! | Just looked at the Dreambox 900 It has embedded Irdeto CAM If you bought Viaccess card then it will not work If it is Irdeto, then just insert the card with the chip down. | ||

Scanning shouldn't cause any problem. Try to shutdown the box, pull the power cord, wait few minutes, plug it in, switch on and see what happens. | |||

Hurray!! | If you still have problems with your card, try deleting all the channels from the channels list for this package (Free-XTV, Xdream, etc.) and then rescan their TP frequency. | ||

Test this first on a channel that is not impotrtant and note it's frequency, Pol, SR, FEC delete it and then rescan. | |||
