Missing DSF on 19.2E

HELP!!
Am I the only person having trouble receiving DSF on Astra 19.2E (11523H)in goode olde analogue? I lost it around May last year (disappointing as it was a good F1 season and I watch DSF for the free practice on Fridays (Thursdays for Monaco!).

In July I saw that my LNB rain cover was damaged and had a new LNB fitted but still no luck!
I know DSF moved from one Astra to Astra L and have tried resetting the Satellite position across the arc (by menu) and horizontally (at the dish), using Eurosport as my start-point -but still nothing, just the Pace NO SIGNAL message.
I'm still sticking with analogue because I get MotoGp and WRC all free from Eurosport and F1 during ITV ad breaks from RTL.
Its coming up to the new F1 season and if I am still unable to receive DSF I'm going to have to bite the bullet and go Digital. In which case - what do I need to get Eurosport (with English soundtrack) without paying a certain Mr Merdeock?? Thanks in advance

My System: Mostly gathering dust cos I'm a lazy git. Porty dish face blew off the mount, not too pleased...

The Sleepy Hollow pollracle has spoken!

According to Analoguesat's website, it's still on 11523H, located on 1KR...

EDIT:
Are you sure your box isn't playing up? What model is it?

Fairly certain, I mean I get a bunch of other Analogue channels, MTV(D), RTL, Eurosport, N24, Sudwest Fernsehen, 9Live, ZDF, Arte, Phoenix, WDR Fernsehen, Hessen Fernsehen, BR Alpha, DMax, as well as others from 5w (
TMC,M6. France 2 & 3, Arte). And no sparklies!!
Odd that its just that one channel.

It is odd, I'm sure that Analoguesat or any other member with an analogue box still working can confirm whether it's there or not...

Poker - I'd like to say I'm envious, but.... ;-)
Anyway, peeps, any clues as to what might be wrong. Is there an elevational difference which means DSF is slightly off beam as opposed to the other Astra channels I do still get? Mr Traveller, I'm assuming your dishes are fixed, but can you get DSF and, say, Eurosport, RTL and MTV(D) from the same dish setting/position?

Yep, fixed dish receiving all listed available analogue channels.
As far as I know, with analogue, if your dish is ok for one of the channels, it should pick them all up.
I would be inclined to think the same as 2cv, that there may be a prob with the box.

From memory (failing fast), problems to do with cable and/or connectors would upset channels operating around 1750 MHz in the IF band

Ifyou are experiencing a poor signal (sparklies) on channels like CNN or MTV Germany, then you should look at a potential issue with water in the cable, or corrosion.

The problem could also be down to the input to the receiver as a result of water.

Question

Thanks, all, for these ideas. The cable was pretty much taped up with electrical tape at the LNB-end, but, as the rain-shield had perished on the old one, I guess water may have travelled down the workings internally, causing the loss of DSF. I'm going to hook up a fresh cable this weekend to see if that improves things.

In the meantime, my (very understanding) partner has decided to get me a Topfield for my birthday. I suppose I should start a new thread in the Digital section, unless you think the following is appropriate here:

How do I go about setting up my digital receiver (Twin digital tuner w/ DisEqc) and my analogue receiver (single tuner 36v w/ positioner) and my motorised 1.2m dish? Do I loop through from Digital to Analogue, then scart to TV, and use Analogue to move dish, then turn off, and turn on Digital? I don't want to use a V-box but need to keep analogue for the free Eurosport (Moto GP, WRC and other motorsport!)

Many thanks again to past (and future) respondents to my obscure queries!!
