Hi all Just relocated and old working dish pointing at astra. What readings should i be getting for the best possible signal. I have a ST2 meter. I have never aligned a dish with analouge signal. There are two cables 1st 950+ 2nd 1250? feeding to a spliter. Just finished reading the manual and i will try the sat finder and go from there. Sorry for my lack of knowledge on this. Any help appreciated | ||

My System: Zone1, DSI8215 SkyHD, Thomson DSI4214, TF5000CI, Dreambox DM800 HD PVR - Nab BH0.12, TM-5200D, Gibertini 104cm, SNH-031, 36v Actuator, Vbox-II, 42°E to 30°W, Sling Media, Televes H45 Digital Processing Analyser, Satlook Micro+G2 NIT, Rover SDM 1s | Welcome to the forum, It's the same as the ST-4 but without then TFT screen. This meter will show a PAL signal trace along with the DVB-S multiplexes. Select Horizontal Polarisation and Low Band (H/Low) (18V / No 22Khz Tone), switch to spectrum trace mode. Find the rough angles from dishpointer.com and align the dish until you see the following: First Analogue peak on 10.714H followed after by two DVB-S transponders 10.744H and 10.773H and then another PAL transponder 10.803H Hope this helps.
