My System: Analogue and digital, used to be a Pace received, this appears to be broken so now sourced a BT SVS260
Problem with old BT SVS20 receiver

I've run an Apollo by Pace receiver for a good number of years now but it seems to have popped a component as
a) when I flick through the channels sometimes the picture doesn't display - somimes it is fine
b) The sound has gone - turn volume up and it's just a loud hiss.
so I sourced a BT SVS260 from Ebay, total cost £8.99 inc postage and maybe I should have been forewarned with the low cost as when I plug it in I get, at best, the 'ghosting' of some channels. No sound. With the remote there is no obvious way of accessing the setup menu but even so I'd have thought that I'd get something to see ?
I've also got a digital system (analogue is justs for Eurosport with English language) and the same dish, cable, Scart etc gives a perfect picture with that so I can only think the box is fauly in som eway.

Before I throw it out only days after buying it I wonder if anyone has any ideas for the resurrection of this or even the Pace ?
Failing that I will need to source a working analogue box from elsewhere !

My System: Pace Sky HD, DM7000s, CubeRevo 3000HDPVR, Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Televes H45 Digital Spectrum analyser.

It's a long time since I set one up, can you take a picture of the remote?

Will try to post a pic : remote just has the numeric keys, standby, tv/sat mono/stereo, audio and the channel ^V buttons. Front of the box has power and channel ^V buttons, rear no switches apart from a Test switch. Card slot on the front. Don't know if any of that helps : best source for a Working box ?

is there not a little link bar between two of the buttons? Unfortunately it is so long since I used one I have completely forgotton how to use it.

Eaby is by far the best place for an analogue receiver, but bear in mind that many are going to be faulty, as they are all so old.
