Found a reference to it:

http://forum.transponder-news.de/viewtopic.php?t=3488

and the (roughly) translated version is:

Cartoon network and boom rank! start in Germany
(sh) the trick film programs Cartoon network and boom rank! in the future also in Germany are marketed.
Already starting from 3 September 2005 it will give always Saturday in the time of 5:30 - 11:30 o'clock its own program block of Cartoon to network with cable 1.
Thus Cartoon network goes into direct competition to the child program nods!, which will come out only few days later on 12 September from the past music channel MTV2-Pop Channel.
At a later time - supposed in the coming year - the 24-Stunden-Programm than Pay TV channel is to be radiated.
In the year 2005 a Greek and a Russian language version were already started by Cartoon network.
Thus Trickfilmsender in 160 countries and 22 languages is radiated.
Presumably in the 1. Quarter 2006 becomes the sister channel boom rank!, likewise coded, in Germany officially to the start go.
Some months ago transponder NEWS had reported already exclusively on possible kind of sending in the program complex of PREMIERE.
At present is unclear, over which spreading way Cartoon network and boom rank! will be future to receive.

My System: Dreambox / Motorised 88cm

Not good news here for analogue viewers from the sky days most recievers are only tuned to get MTV2POP and Eurosport and the main german channels. People will not know how to retune the system so they will get rid of it. Plently of clubs, bars and hotels still have analogue on mtv2pop because it replaced the old mtv uk frequencey years ago and its FTA. But I think many hotels arnt bothered if they can still get Eurosport for free.
