Out of interest I had a look at their website (http://ww6.tvp.pl/2645.dzialy) and used an online Polish to English translator. It translates as follows:

So I presume from that pig English it's saying that they've decided on a one month delay in turning off the Hotbird Analogue signal. So off on the 31st of October.

A Polish lady that I know has been watching this service for sometime and I can confirm from what she saw on the channel that it will close at the end of October.

TV Polonia pulled off air at 22:59:20 uk time. The carrier was switched off in the middle of the weather forecast, and the last image ever transmitted was the weather girl standing in front of the weather map. Transmissions continue in digital fta on Astra 2C.

Are we soon going to get more channels from TVP? They sent out a PR a couple of months back saying they'd be more on Astra but we're well beyond that date now.
