Pace MSS1000 instructions...

Does anyone know where I can get a copy of the instructions for the MSS1000 Motorised analogue box? They would be handy cos I've kind of muddled my way along with my MSS300 but as the MSS1000 has a few more features than the 300 I'd like to read the instructions so I know what I'm doing with it!!!

Ta!!!

Anyone? I really could use them, especially as I noticed in the menus that it can use C-Band dishes....

Have just been searching through a load of stuff, the manual is for the Pace MSS 1008-IP.

In the setup menu i can only see, fixed or steerable, for the dish type.

I think I have the 250 channel Non-Motor version (there are no connections for a motorised dish), I'll have a look at the model number in a moment (but it definately has "C-Band" in the Tuning menu).....

Hi, that would be great, but I think my MSS1000 may be on it's way out (so it too needs a Relkit) as it's displaying sparklie-type interference in some images but the dish is perfectly aligned (as I used my MSS300 to do that before I took it apart to investigate a smelly burning smell)....

I'll just leave it for now as I just got 2 analogue boxes from a carboot sale (one is a Pace clone (a Granada) and the other is one I have never heard of but has "videocrypt" on it so must be a useable analogue box) so I'll play about with them and if I save enough money to I'll get a Relkitfor my MSS1000 then I'll get the instructions....

My System: PACE 430 (Radio Reception only to feed a SKY Gnome), PACE 3100 (PVR 2.5), ROI SKY 6 mixes, Technomate TM-1500 CI+, TM-6900 HD, 100 cm Triax (Sky), 80 cm Nokia with Motec SG-2100. MacBook and that's that.

Sorry for moving away from the original topic, but the MSS-1000 is probably the best ever made receiver of all time. The design was (and still is in my opinion) fantastic and the electronics never let me down once. Loved the front screen showing what channel you were watching. Spent quite a few hours getting all the names in lol. Had to bin it after almost 8 years of service...
