The above is a delayed post which should have been made a couple of days ago but was delayed owing to technical problems experience by the poster

The race of champions took place on 3rd November 2009

You see it is proof positive that digital channels are much faster than analogue

Would you please do me a favor to help me by analogue receivers in the markets?

Do we still have does kind of receivers in the market? 'coz what I can see around me are digital ones. In addition, all transmissions are changing into digital HD, WS and so on.

My System: Triax 1.1m and Orbital 80cm Motorised Dishes. Various fixed Dishes. Eclectic selection of Digital and Analogue Receivers. Complex switching and distribution that SWMBO cannot fathom. Nor me.

It is still possible to get Analogue Receivers (eg Systec, Metronic), but the main market remains in France where many people still use the Atlantic Bird 3 Satellite.

But there are a variety of French Digital TV packages now, so even this market is receding.

Cost? Around 30€ from many French Hypermarkets and Department Stores.

Analogue Transmissions remain unchanged in spec. and will probably be defunct within three years.
