Its deffo a channel master 1.2m /1.8m with ku-band feedhorn and i think the lnb is made by norsat best would to be to change it for a c120 inverto or invacom.

The thing i can not understand is why have they got a D2-MAC decoder in a school maybe the teacher use to stay late to watch the late night movie on filmnet/tv1000

Sounds like a Decoder box of somesort to me, old analogue boxes usually have 2 or three Scarts on the back, my Pace MSS300 has 3, TV, VCR and Decoder, but it it is a decoder, then you have a very nice doorstop as it'llbe completely out of date now...

My System: Sky UK. FTA analogue & digital satellite from 5 fixed dishes (5E/7E/9E/13E/16E /19E/23E/28E) Pace MSS100, Echostar IP3000VA, Technomate TM-1000D, Dreambox 7020S

It could possibly be a pal-secam transcoder for the French channels.

My System: Technomate 1500CI+ and Hauppauge WinTV NOVA-HD-S2 on a 104 cm motorized dish and Humax HDCI200 on 90 cm motorized dish.

Wouldnt be Brynmawr Comp up by Control Data by any chance they had a similar decoder in the back of of Mrs Sheens class.

I used to always look enviously at the old Dish up there and never got used.

I was told she was fired up to view CNN international on the day after 9/11 but that could be rumor.

Ah im guessing they both had Mac Decoders due to similar kit being installed at both?

Only been in Nantyglo Comp once or twice I think.. for taster days after leaving primary years ago.
