Welcome to the new forum

Welcome to the forum, if you've made it to here, then you have either registered or are thinking of doing so. All you need is a valid E-mail address to register, this will enable you to see the full forum and make posts on the many subjects.

There may be some items in your user profile which you may want to change or fine tune, for instance you can choose not to receive E-mail or allow private messages, you can do this by going into the user cp at the top of the page. You may perhaps want to add your own personal avatar, there is a size limit on avatars but you can alter the size on the web with http://www.gifworks.com/ . Sides should ideally not be larger that 65 pixels

Avatar Resizer Free Download http://www.jql.co.uk/avatarsizer.htm

You can get your avatars from places like
http://www.gifs.net.
http://www.freeavatars.net/
http://www.hallo-spass.de/
http://www.gifanimations.com
http://avatarshere.topcities.com/pages.htm
http://www.gamespy.com/avatars/avata...start=1&page=0
http://www.40k.ca/avatars/
http://www.millan.net/anims/giffar.html

Please take the time to go to the chit chat forum, there are posts there on a vast range of topics and nearly always a members poll for you to vote on, also essential to read the sticky forum rules and guidelines prior to making a post, they're all pretty much common sense and do not make heavy reading.

Hope you all enjoy the new forum, I feel it has many features that make it a big improvement on the last. Thanks to Chris-Head Honcho for organising the changeover.

Don't wish to sound harsh, but there really isn't very much I can do about that, particularly as this is an English language forum.

My System: PANSAT 3500S
Glad To Be Here !!

Good Morning....I live in the USA in New York near Niagra Falls and just came across this site as I was leaving for work.

It seems well laid out and I am going to be asking questions as to if we can get any UK channels over here when I get home from work .

We are using FTA a lot over here and I have a PANSAT 3500S receiver with a Dishnet 500 dish and can receive Dishnetwork Channels and BEV totaling in all about 1200 excellent English speaking Channels. We can get BBC America, BBC Canada and BBC World news.

By the way ....I am a Mancunian from way back and travel to England on business now and again.

Cheers and will sign on later.....
