Forum Improvements

You may have noticed some visual changes to the forum, Chris has been tweaking and fine tuning to make the forum load more quickly, he has certainly succeded as far as the site loading on my PC is concerned (Tnanks Chris).

I have also split the sky digital forum into a Technical/Fringe reception forum and a general forum, hopefully this should make topics of interest easier to find.

My System: Sky HD, Manhattan Plaza ST550 and TM1500 CI+. 1.0m dish and 36v motor, Panasonic DVD HDD recorder and Panasonic video/DVD recorder. Sony G800 HD TV stand/surround system + Sony KDL40W2000. Infinity USB, Elvis, CAS1, CAS2.

I've got a blueish background (sorry I'm colour challenged) and the actual site is no longer full width of screen. Is that what you are referring to Rolf.

Yes Jimbo, Chris has reverted to PHP, plus optimised the format for 800 x 600 display, I think that it will make a big difference to those on a slow connection. It looks a bit odd on my 21" monitor, but i can live with it if it makes it easier for most other members.

LOL, when I saw it at this computer fair, £250 for an Eizo, knocked him down to £200, it was one of those must have purchases. Even if I did have to take the door off of a cupboard to recess it into the wall.

YES Big R , ive just noticed the little forum awards badges on the left hand side, Reminds me of the old days working at McDonalds, and there staff badges, and 1 staff member in the Carlisle store who was a right JOBSWORTH, used to polish his badge, and brag to the rest of the crew how quick he got all his stars, 1 time when i was up there i had a box of em to drop off in Glasgow and he pissed me off so much, i promoted all the staff and stuck 30 or so on my boilersuit, (kenny everett) he blew his top, phoned McDs HQ to complain (his career dissapation light hit red ) not to feel left out with 3 stars, ive fitted a gold pvc seethrough strip to the left of my monitor (NOW I HAVE FIVE STARS )
WHO SAYS BUILDERS ARE CHILDISH AND THICK. HE HE. DAVE.
