My System: Sky+ sky dish, Panasonic Combi VHS/DVD recorder Low definition 20" TV with mono sound though somehow is patched into the hi-fi!!! Oh and have a motorised dish for looking at other satellites which is unfortunately now seized up through lack of use

Nice one HB13DISH, I also a a couple of discs unfinalised using a different laptop many years ago which wouldn't read because we hadn't closed the disc so I will give this a try.

My System: Echostar ad3600ipva Technomate Tm5500cip Sky+ Technisat DVB pci 2.3 & 2.6 running on XP & Vista with Prog DVB 1.5 prime focus dish on polar mount Invacom C120 quad LNB T Rex cam, Diablo cam & Matrix reloaded cam Cas 3 plus programer

Followed the guide & managed to rescue an unfinalised dvd I bought of Ebay. As I buy a lot of discs from around the world I am now set up for if this happens again.
Thanks
