My father in law is about to venture into a new LCD TV, DVD recorder and Freesat box, and has asked me to help (yikes!) I know very little about this stuff and would like some advice. His budget for everything, including dish etc is max £1000. He doesn't need special hi fi sound or anything like that but he does need the ability to still use his Sennheiser, wireless headphones as he is a bit deaf. I am looking at an HD Samsung or LG 32" TV, a Humax freesat box and a DVD recorder with an HD, probably Samsung or LG again. Am I being sensible with these choices? Any other advice gratefully received. Cheers | ||
