My System: Sky+ Multiroom,Thompson PVR, Dreambox 7000S, 300gig HDD, 1.1m Dish, Moteck SG-2100A DISEQC Motor, Gemini image, 2g USB Stick. ![]() A defender of the Remote Control Brigade, Sir R can flick channels faster than a Robben dive |
right here is a good puzzle ![]() instead of having seperate speakers for everything in the lounge i decided to wire everything to the 5.1 system now the only thing that is real 5.1 is the DVD player, so obviously the rest will just use the speakers as normal whats the best way to do this, without spending a fortune on a fancy box. its a case of 4 outputs going into 1!! see pic it could be 5, if i decided to add the Xbox... but i wont lol

Blog Entries: 1 My System: DM7020S ~ DM500s ~ sg2100 ~ Gemini ![]() If he were not a wizard, from head down to the root, you would have got to worry-your DB only boots | What's the AV amp? And the stereo amp? I connect the Dreambox to the amp using optical, DVD using digital coax. Depending on your stereo and the AV amp you can take the pre-outs from the AV amp into your stereo amp e.g. your stereo amp runs your front speakers. | ||

My System: 2xPace 430N, 1xNokia MM9800, 1xNokia 80cm Sat Dish, 1xGibertini 120cm, Big Fat Furry Puss | Your question is now a month old - did you sort everything out? All I would ask is surely your 5.1 AV AMP has sufficient inputs. mhku has the right idea All you have figure is how to re-use all those previously seperate speakers and where they should all live. [I use 5amp flex - bi-wired]Have Fun.
