depends on which hdtv. most people go for john lewis (with pricematch) because of their excellent 5 year warranty.

Our local town centre now has an Aldi, putting the wind up some of the other supermarkets.

A 47" HDTV for £899, and a 34" for £389.

TJ Hughes have some nice big ones at £599/£699 (stand extra) -worth a look if there is one near you...

My local CashConverters had a couple in the window for about £499 for a 42" and £399 for I think 32"...

Second hand of course...
