this is good news, does the receiver have any kind of blind scan function ?

i might consider this receiver instead of a pc hd sat card

From what I've read there is no blind scan facility yet with either AZ HD receiver, but the official firmware hasn't been released yet, it's still a work in progress.
But the box sounds quite good, especially the 4:2:2 option, and some of the future options.
There was a pdf manual I downloaded fro somewhere , with a lot of informatuon, I'll check their site:
_http://azbox.com/index.php
It might be worth comparing the AZ HD, Q Box HD and the Dreambox HD.

There is no time scale for this.

More important tasks must be fixed but it will be done !

Hard to tell but the latest SW (just installed and tested) is a BIG step forward.

I am sure that the V1 for this box will make all other makers cry

There is a new FW coming this month. Then it will be time for the box to leave the beta stage.
