BBC does not allowed cable transmision ,of there programs, outside Uk:)

Hello!
3 days, ago i got the infromation, from my coleague, that works at a tv cable company, that every operator, got a mail from bbc, that they should imidatly remove the bbc channels from the cable dvb C,other ,because, the have no right outside uk,to spread, the bbc channels in the cable, other wise, when the not remove, the would make a laiwsuit against, the cable operators!
now,the channels,are replaced,with itv 1+2 news channel!

thats,a real not funny part!

bbc is now fta over europe, over satelite!

what you think about it!
for me it is absolutly incomprehensible, because, the sending fta over satelite!

maybe soon it is forbiden,to reveive the bbc, over satelite outside uk

I dont see how they can demand the removal the BBC services from Dutch cable services - they pay for the right to show the Beeb. Maybe its just for cable operators who dont pay for the right?

Hello!
dont have background infromation!
so how much bbc wants for one year, sounds that is real expensice, and not every operator, has the money for it
must they pay, depents how many costomors the cable network has,or is it a fix price,in one year?

what is about the rumour, that bbc, encrypted again in the next upcoming years?

No idea what the rates are, I just know that the Dutch cable companies pay an agreed rate to carry the BBC channels.

I very much doubt the BBC channels will go scrambled anytime soon - "BBC Freesat" is just around the corner.

BBC by satellite is using a narrow beam, just like ITV. These signals are not meant te be received in other parts than the UK. Due to long term agreements with the BBC in The Netherlands, parts of Belgium and Switzerland, cable operators in these countries are allowed to offer BBC 1 and 2 by analogue cable and BBC 1 2 3 4, CBBC and CBeebies by digitale cable. It is not allowed to provide these stations by DVB-T of DVB-S. In The Netherlands is BBC Prime and BBC World shown on DVB-T and DVB-S.

But the BBC/ITV sat channels are deliberately on 2D, with the footprint focussed on the UK, so getting them in mainland europe is just a lucky spinoff.

Lets just hope it remains completely unencrypted.

Thats the theory, athough 2D reception is possible from Iceland (80cm dish) right down the furthest reaches of the Mediterranean to Jordan (7m dish!)

hm,seems to be that, every operator here in europe has other reglematations!
they also take the german channels form astra into the cable dvb c,without paying anything!

espsely in areas, where you need biger antennas, for bbc,the cable,is the only way,to reveive it,what a uk citizen here are not happy, when there programs are gone, and often, when the rent a house or apartment,it is forbidden to install a dish !

i understand, that the bbc,has only the movie rights for england, but, because of the fact, that the have do to to use the special uk beam,it is enough, for the movie filmindustry, that the bbc, dont have to pay,the movie rights for other european memberstates!
,bbc has do that what the told,to have to do,to pay lower copyright rates, when i signal is for free reveivble, for the puplic, fta,i dont think, that this is confirm, with eu rights, because, only of the fact, that is posible,to reveive bbc,in some nabour countrys, bbc does not have higher costs,to pay the copright holder!

or what ever!

,when bbc is encryptred again, also again nds is using?
can i watch then the channels with normal channel 4-5 cards?

if this would realy happens,a this big antennas, that people extra bought, for reveiving bbc, here in europe are useless

first the says, nds is to expensice,no the go back,to use it again,i dont understand, because,i dont know the backgrounds!
