That's strange. On one of my digiboxes I'm getting sound (non English!) and only text advising to upgrade my sky subscription and watch this channel for 2€ a month, without a freesat card I'm getting "insert sky card" and on another box I'm not even getting the sound just the text.

You are getting picture and sound with no card ? on 282 ?

Thats the standard upgrade screen when you have the relevant mix missing. Its £1 a month for each extra mix nowadays.

As you are getting a 2€ screen is that card an Irish one by any chance?

My System: Dreambox 500, Dreambox 600PVR, Dreambox 7025+, Dreambox 7000, 1m dish on a Moteck SG2100

£1 or 2€ is an interesting exchange rate.

Is that because Ireland is further away from the Satellite

Not sure if they are Irish. Can I tell by looking at the cards ? The message does actually say 1 pound and then in parentesses (EUR2).

nah, it's another example of the dreaded "Euro round up rule". All us foreign countries know this very well. At the switch over, any price that would not convert to a conveniently round price in Euro was rounded up until it did ... !
