Question about E4 and live Big Brother

Hi, I hope this message doesn't get pulled because I am not deliberately causing trouble, BUT...

Why the heck can't I see free E4 and free E4 24/7 Big Brother feed with my Humax receiver? So annoying. These channels are not part of a Sky package, yet Sky block them. You can see them without a Sky package if you have a Sky box.

Is there any way with my Dragon cam I can watch E4 and the E4 live BB feed. Is there a way to over-ride their block?

I am not interested in 'cracking' Sky, I have no interest in their programming. All I want to see is see a service which is FREE ANYWAY.

Thanks, m8s.

My System: Sky UK. FTA analogue & digital satellite from 5 fixed dishes (5E/7E/9E/13E/16E /19E/23E/28E) Pace MSS100, Echostar IP3000VA, Technomate TM-1000D, Dreambox 7020S

E4 is covered by an encryption contract which doesnt expire until later this year. Sky do not BLOCK them in any way shape or form - but they do enforce the contract that the C4 lawyers happily signed a few years back,. So blame C4 not Sky

And no theres no way whatsoever to override any sort of Sky UK encryption - and I hope the encryption is never compromised as I guarantee all forums would cave in under the weight of "tell me how to get free sky football" posts.

But I could watch it with a 2nd-hand Sky box and no subscription?

I await your kindly reply.

Not at the moment no - its subscription only. As for 6 months hence well C4 have expressed an interest in taking all their channels fta, but that would probably depend on sufficient capacity being free up on Astra 2D.
