Why Wont Sky take my money?

Hay Guys/Gals,

Bet that got your attention....

Question for you. I live with my parents, at my parents house, but i have another room above my garage where i hang out.

And i would like to get sky out there. My parents already have sky.. and i have fitted a quad LNB and run a cable out to my room, and set up my box.

Now when i ring sky and say i would like to start a new subscription they dont want to know. all they keep pushing is multiroom, which isnt an option as i dont have any way of getting a phone line out there.

Is there anyway i can get them to send me a card that i can then activate, i dont want the full deal with them, just the entertainment mix.

Any help would be appreciated. I have never met a company that dont want to take my money

Thanks
/Cont.

Why not buy a wireless telephone extender (about £50) and then you can get a multiroom sub, which is of course much cheaper than a standard sub.

Failing that, change your address to "the Annexe" 345 whatever your Road and try ringing for a card again.

I did think about using an extender, but i seem to remeber that my parents skybox, has a dodgy modem and it appares to hold the line open.

Will the still send a card with an address they cant find on any systems?, and with a diffrent payment address.

Thankss for the input.

Well that being the case, try it and if the callbacks aren't made, all they will do is charge you full price for the second subscription, so you will have achieved your aim, be it by a different method.
