Uptodate FTA Channel List wanted

Hi all, im looking for an uptodate list of all free channels available from Astra2 in a user friendly printable version. (lyngsat no good)

Found a few lists via Google, but there a couple of years out of date.

Can anyone point me in the right direction please?

PS Where did you find that spreadsheet, was that on Lyngsat? If so where about as i cant see them and didnt know they had excel files on there ?

found it all ok, but on checking again not all the free channels are listed. It only comes up with 91 Free channels from 28 degs east, i know there is over 250 on there, back to the drawing board :-/

I am afraid that I can't help you find the missing channels, as I can't receive Astra with my system.
Could some of the missing channels be radio?
I suppose Lyngsat might be better updated than Astra.

No there not radio, some are in my second post. Think im going to have to do it the hard way and go through Lyngsat as that is up to date. Shame you cant get excel files off there.

Right, ive gone through Lyngsat and used the info there to make up this channel listing

Ive catergorised most of the channels where i could, there may be a few out of place. I also left out most of the interactive feeds etc but apart from that this is pretty much up to date.

Regarding the number of FTA channels, I haven't counted them all up but don't forget that there are numerous regional variations of the terrestrial channels - some only differing in the adverts they carry.

As I get older I find myself thinking about the hereafter - I go into a room and then wonder what I'm here after.

BLUEPLATINUM

Channel 4 is broadcasting FTA on channel labeled "8350" on 2D at the following frequency - 10729 V 22000 5/6.

This is expected to be relabeled "Channel 4" and have full Now and Next data by the time FreeSat launches (which is rumoured to be in the next two months).

trigger

Use MS Excel.
Open new sheet.
Go to Data on tool bar
Select import external data then new web query
New window opens
In the address bar type the web address that you want to import from (ie Lyngsat)
(If using Lyngsat) Next to the channel lists on the site is a small yellow box with a black arrow in it. Click this box. Now becomes a green tick.
Click import at the bottom
Next window click OK
Wait for data to load.
Highlight the colums (A,B,C,D etc) with data in it
Click Data on toolbar
Select filter and then auto filter
You can now click on the small tabs and filter for say "Free TV"
Print it out

Job done
