Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Unaohm EP313, Swires Annie 204 Spectrum, Rover ST-4 Spectrum. | Yes, some regions are not on Astra 2D (the satellite with the restricted beam), as there was not enough space, so they have encrypted those regions. There is a long thread about it in the Freesat section.

My System: Technomate 1500ci + super , freesat uk , hyunday hss1120na | Thanks rolfw , it was a bit of a shock as i haven't tryed to watch it witout a card in a long time , today i did a sky freesat instalation and when i was just about to show the customer that she can get itv without the viewing card it was not showing . However it's still fta at the back of the epg itv1 london . | ||

My System: Sky UK. FTA analogue & digital satellite from 5 fixed dishes (5E/7E/9E/13E/16E /19E/23E/28E) Pace MSS100, Echostar IP3000VA, Technomate TM-1000D, Dreambox 7020S  The last noble sat warrior to fly the olden flag of Analogue | The ftv only affects half a dozen sub regions. ITV have had to give up one of their Astra 2D frequencies and the affected channels have had to go ftv.
