Silvercrest SL65 and Sky Mini Dish - Where are the TV Channels?

(Apologies if this is NOT the right thread).

Got my heads around getting my 2-year old Silvercrest SL65 receiver to work with my newly installed sky mini dish receiver.
The receiver is working but I can't seem to get any channels out of it. FYI, I have reconnected the wire to the back of the SL65 receiver from the sky box.
I have around 700ish channels in the list but none of them are working (at least not the video ones).
Help/Advise welcomed/needed. What else do I need to do?

Hi,

You have it connected up wrong.

You have to connect the coax cable from the dish to the SL65 LNB input connector.

Hi Robbo, thanks for the answer. I actually unscrewed the coaxial cable from the sky box and reconnected it to the LNB in of the SL65.

OOPs, sorry , misread.

What you need to do then, is select the 28E satellite in the installation menu, and perform a satellite scan. At least some of the TV channels should work after that.
