New African and Caribbean channel unveiled

A new free-to-air TV channel for the African and Caribbean community called ACTV plans to launch on sky digital in June. The 24 hour station will show a range of programming including news, music, sport and general entertainment. Its owner, Takerak Ltd, says: "African and Caribbean groups in the UK have until now been poorly served in terms of tailored TV programming that reflects their interests.
