European Foreign Channels to Launch Soon

European language channels have done deals with Sky to get their services onto digital satellite.

Spain's national broadcaster TVE International is to appear on 3 November and German channel Deutche Welle will also appear shortly.

It is being reported that the channels are to launch as an aid to students studying foreign languages and join French broadcaster TV5 which launched on satellite a year ago.
