What on earth do you write about. I'm sitting here at the keyboard with my excuse for a brain trying to do what seems the impossible, that is putting my thoughts down onto the monitor screen.

I really envy these people with a vocabulary as large as the Pacific and with the expertise to write a professional piece with absolutely no problems at all.

I look at quite a few blogs covering many topics and I would really like to write a masterful blog but I don't think it's in me. but you never know I might learn something and write a great blog read by thousands, but dont't hold your breath.

If there are any bloggers reading this excuse of a diatribe perhaps you could give a few tips and pointers which help you to write.

You sound quite intelligent and your use of words is quite succinct so just recall a personal experience or thought and go for it you may be surprised at the outcome, anyway have a go!

And don't worry, if you make spelling or grammar errors someone will surely rub your nose in it
Seriously, just go ahead and do it!

LOL, must confess that when I read some blogs, I am in awe at the writers' wordcraft, but on many other occasions I merely think what's the point.

I've tried on several occasions to write short pieces on interesting subjects and always miserably failed, as after several rewrites, I scrap the idea.

Thanks guys, sorry about the late answer to your offerings, been a bit busy helping out a neighbour who suffers from Parkinson's Disease which most days causes him to click things with his mouse that he doesn't intend to.

Keep those tips and observations coming as I am most interested in how people put together a decent piece for publication.

    TIA
