My System: Covering 30W-105.5E range, two motors, C and Ku band. Various receivers/cards/cams/etc.

Try to flash your clarketech with DR HD F16 firmware - you'll get fully functional spectrum analyser.

Hello BombedOne,

is meanwhile a Firmware available to flash it 1:1 into the Clark Tech HD 5000 Plus? ( without doing some bootfile modifications by myself )

Yes of course, such firmware is available - you flash it via your USB stick - just as any general original firmware. You can go back any time you want.

I've flashed it several times, everything works ok, channel switching time is AMAZINGLY FAST compared to native firmware. Only disadvantage is, cloudy OSD background is gone, and you'll get gray background instead.

The Dr.HD firmware looks much better than the original, is there any equivalent for the non plus Combo model?

Yes I see that for the DR.HD product. But the _http://www.technomate.com/viewproduct2.php?product=81 (not Super) is the same hardware, maybe there are other makes which are the same as the C-Tech 5000HD Combo? Is it possible to install the TM software on the C-Tech? If yes is it any better?
