My System: 1.2M, & 55cm Gregorian Dish`s, 1.8m Precision dish Jaeger 1224 H-H motor.Dreambox 800, Vbox-II. SS2 Card.

I would like to use my channel master 1.8m, but don't like the thought of having to change feeds etc.

Unless there is a feed for both C and KU?

40.5°W NSS 806
43.0°W Intelsat 3R
45.0°W Intelsat 1R
53.0°W Intelsat 707
55.5°W Intelsat 805
58.0°W Intelsat 9

ffs bones after all these years i've known you m8; still have not learned to break your system, go with the wind and be apart from the rest! lolol. i think u been looking to hard for those spares for your Gregorian Dish's, IMHO u become lazy to explore new methods hehe only kidding m8 Nice to see u here.

with regards to feeds..i'm currently thinking of upgrading my old ADL feed to the reliable Seavey c/ku Feed (SVY-ESR124H) if i have enough cash saved in my piggy bank thinking of also invseting in EGIS PROFI - TRACKER (Antenna Rotor B i -Axial Antenna Positionining System) will set me back around about £2k-£2.5k..alot of dosh!!

Hi Turok

I've had my Obitron MicroMesh dish for well over 10 years now, so not sure what the average price is for todays market but a quick google search came up with one site in germany selling KTI mesh dishes 3.65m for 1069,00 Euro's Roughly equates to £765.00 British Pound Sterling. There was no mention in the description if the mesh was "micromesh" but if you can understand german then u'll have no problems, pm me,i'll give u the link if interested.

Just bit of advice, Never buy the normal mesh by KTI or even by orbitron/parclispse. you will be wasting your money!!. I quoted this in another forum rather than me retype i'll paste my reply

The old normal mesh is not very good for ku-band signal,ie (3.6m antenna would perform like a 1.8m dish) neverthless it doesn't effect c-band signal. Well MicroMesh(MM) is a different ball game. This was a new type of mesh which were incorprated on orbitron, kti, parclipse dishes. The holes which makeup the mesh are very small, can't recall the figure from top of my head;but this in a effect gives a better performance under ku-band. I know from my own experience my Obitron 3.6 MicroMesh dish performs like a 2.8m -3m solid dish. so you have best of both worlds C/ku band.
Just to add to that MicroMesh antenna pi$$es on the signal of nilesat 7W which everyone is after nowadays. Used to watch showtime on 7w in irdeto1 with season interface couple of years ago...ffs b4 any1 say anything i aint that old honest lmao

reports i reed on the net told, that the lnb feedholder,in orginal are to short,of all kti dishes, that must me replace to longer ones,to geht optimal signal result,in the burning focus!
You are correct, there was a recall on all KTI dishes but i assume this problem was rectified, last time i read on american forum but it is always best to ask before you purchase.

You must be after the small golden box i've got one hooked up to the drake, its kewl for the inclined orbit satellites..tracks them without any problems operates both motors perfectly. Hardly ever use it nowaday,no time for feedhunting.

I got a piccy of the dish it aint a great picture but will do for now.
