My c-band plans

I am going to buy another 1.8m prime focus dish and c-band lnb-f volt switching lnb this week,

And am going to have a go at modding a prime focus c-band lnb-fforuse on a small offset dish,

Is the prodelin dish installed yet mate?

What make 1.8 are you going to get?

Should be interesting to see what you can get on a small offset

I have used the 1.8m prodelin on a ground mount but have packed it back up untill i move house,

For use on c-band i am going to get prime focus dish and a c-band lnb-f but am going to try and make a offset feedhorn aswell to use on a small dish

hi rd the holder for my 1.2mtr offset dish for c-band i used 52mm copper tubing cut 1inch of it then cut it in half soldered 4 lugs to the two halves thats the cradle to hold lnb then made the rest up to fit dish similar to ku holder,for the offset scaler ring i cut a normal scaler ring in three parts then with six small brackets bolted the brackets to the three parts so each part is staggered then put 1 inch wide ali inside all the three parts it gives you more gain.
