help updating cam in manchester

hi all i am from australia
a friend of mine is comming back home to manchester for
a holiday, while i was in europe a couple of years ago i purchased a power cam pro which gets updates from hotbird, as we can not get this sat here
is there anyone willing to help me get this cam updated
or know any satallite shops in manchester i can contact to help me

My System: IDD CI24 ECONO MM Penta 1.20 Galaxy II 1.2Mtr Polar MTG yes it has been on the arc for 21 years and is still driven by a modified wiper motor from a Ford Anglia. It's like me sometimes groans but always performs

I had a look at this as I have never heard of one before. indeed it is reported to do its own firmware updates from Hotbird on the following TP

Up-date by satellite From Hotbird 13 east
On Transponder 69,
Frequency 12 092
Polarization Horizontal
Symbol rate 27 500
Fec 3/4

so just to clarify here you require a member who has an stb that will accept a Conditional Access Module and then want it updating from Hotbird, this member must live in the Manchester area?!! Manchester is a pretty big place, will this person have transport?

What leads you to think that an update is available?

yes there have been several updates since
i bought the cam 2 years ago
either a kind member or a sat shop would be most appreciated
i don,t know exactly where in manchester they are going
but they do have transport i will find out exactly where and get back soon

My System: 80 cm dish hh motor teco tm1000 dreambox 7020 cas 3interface dragon cam.promax tv explorer 2.

there is a shop on Ebay that updates cam for 3.99 plus postage.usually 1 week turn around.whether they will do this im not sure.ps i have never used them but know of folk who have.so if your cam never returns dont blame me.ps dont go to Manchester the lake district is much better.
