how to upgrade Aston Ci 1.05 to 1.07,to make it compatible, with seca 3 cards?

Hello!
special questions here,for this zone!

a friend, from nabour villiage, just called my,and asked,me how to upgrade the aston 1,05 ci ,to the newer version for seca 3 cards v 1.07!
to make it 100% compatilbe ,with latest seca 3 cards, that just coming out!

the current problem is,that this ci module,is not recogneized,on a technisat hd stb with version 1,05!

currencly,i have no informaiton ,about it to upgrade to aston V 1.07

is the aston company still exisits,or out of bisness now?
i dont see many products the last couple of years from them!

there, would be also other seca compatibles ci modules for sure, but the probem, would be,in old seca 2 and espasaly on seca 3 now, that the au function, will only work in orginal module!

i dont have the overview,at the moment, what ci modules, would support good au in seca, and other orginal cards, the diablo, does also not do the au,on srg card for example, and most others, any other ideas?

is this aston v 1.07 file anyehre public,or is it a complete new hardware revision?

Has he tried to upgrade his module from the satellite? Astra or Hot Bird
If this is not available, I think that he would better buy the latest Aston module.
Look for the cheapest shops, most probably from France as they are popular with Canal Sat.
Company still active:

There is some useful information here:
_http://www.aston-france.com/uk-assistance.php?produit=camaston&lib=DVB%20CI
According to this, version 1.05 is the latest and can't be upgraded.
But the new CAMs can be upgraded via satellite.

upgrade

How can I upgrade my cam ?
Only new Aston cams , with a green Led can be upgraded by satellite .
Last version for the former Astoncrypt cam is V 1.05 , and can't be upgraded .
To upgrade your cam , you will have first to modify the time length of message display in the cam menu to "unlimited" ( Menu / Information / Smart card information / Settings). Then , you only have to switch on your receiver on the right satellite and right frequency , insert your cam in your receiver , and the upgrade will start automatically within 5 ' .
These channels are STB Comag , or Technisat Kanal 50 on the Astra Frequency . Maybe you will need to store it manually .
With Xena 1800 & 2000 , you will have to select Menu / Installation / Download / pcmcia download , and enter the right parameters .
Anyway , you will check the new version has been downloaded , entering in the Common Interface menu.

The latest version for the old Aston CAM is 1.05 abd can't be upgraded, so what good would a 1.07 BIN file be? It can only kill it.
I have seen the new CAM with slots for two cards, but the price is high.
Perhaps you can buy a cheap French receiver with Mediaguard embedded CAM instead of buying the module? This way you gain a receiver for just a little more money.
Check the recommended receivers for Canal Sat.
Have you seen the Strong SRT 6825 or Strong SRT 6850 or Strong SRT 6855?

They are popular in Netherland to open Canal Digittal. Seen all three models here:
_http://www.novasat.nl

Prices:
Strong SRT 6825 159 euro
Strong SRT 6850 199 euro
Strong SRT 6855 229 euro

You can download brochures and user manual from the strong website I gave you in previous post.
Don't buy any receiver unless you are absolutely sure they will open the card that you have.
Which package is it by the way?
Good luck
