Viaccess CAM update

Hi All
I have a Viaccess CAM(Red) which identifies itself asViaccsess 1.0 478, Application V1.02, Pt No 901273. I haven't used it for some time and most signal sources now use Viaccess 2. Will this CAM work with Via2 or can it be updated, and if so how? I have seen the lefdata site which seems to offer update files but none of these files seem to exist now.
Any help appreciated Cager

Hello!
yes, your cam can also be used with via 2,also old cams, like the very old svt europe and viacces black cam with uk .1. 1 firmware works with via 2

no,if i remeber right, all red viacess cams, after the black/white version cant be updated via the notebook!
in past around 4 years ago,the update process,of this red viaccess cam, goes autmaticly,on some astra/hotbird transponders, but i think this sercice,is now switched off in the meantime!
