Which CAM & Card is best now?

CAMs, built-in CAMs, Common-Interface CAMs...
Add-on decoders.

Which CAM & Card is best now?

Hi,

I want to buy a CAM and card. What should I be looking at? Would this change if I want to use the CAM with the card from my skybox (wanting to use the HTPC instead of the STB)?

Thanks!

My System: neotion 3000 matrix reloaded+reborn monobloc for 19.2+13e

I have a stack of cams cards and programmers, now a total waste of money so it is cheaper in my opinion to go legal. Save your cash and the hassle of missing half a film/match.

Save your money for a few weeks. A card swap is imminent and its quite possible the new cards wont work with cams and non Sky boxes. Wait until we have more info on what works and what doesnt.

Are you selling any of your gear? If so post it up in the classifieds section.

You might get some of your money back if anyone has a use for them.

Thanks for the info, I'll wait to see how things go. I mostly watch the freeview, but occasionally, the sky stuff would be nice. I'm happy to buy the subscription, but want to view it on my HTPC, instead of the sky box.
