do i need CAM or PATCH ???

hi
do i actually need any CAM for Humax PVR 8100, or a patch will do?

if a CAM is essential, which one does the best for Hotbird & Astra 19?

Dragon or Magic?

i'm completely new at this so please do explain it in a simple way.

cheers.

My System: Pace Sky HD, DM7000s, CubeRevo 3000HDPVR, Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Televes H45 Digital Spectrum analyser.

Not sure that there is a patch for your Humax, so you will probably need a CAM, forget the Magic, it is now a tad old hat. There isn't much now to compare between the Dragon, Matrix Reborn/revolution/reloaded, X-CAM/Ultra and Reality CAM, they all seem to achieve similar results.

I have a 8100 PVR and I havent been able to find a patch for it,read on some page that a Hyundai patch should work in it,but I didn't understand the language on that page so I never downloaded that patch.

If you should stumble over something, please post it here!

thanks.
now, what do i exactly need with DRAGON to unscamble
those channels on 13° & 19°,

loader program ?
fun card ?
predator 3.07 / 3.09 ?

what are the technical procedure of loading the software into the receiver?
any certain version of DRAGON or they are all the same?
would you recommend buying these at Ebay?
what would be the aprx price for all from a dealer?

do you by the way have the list of the channels which can be cleared by DRAGON on Hotbird & Astra19?

cheers.
